A typical Maharashtrian sweet followed down ages. Especially eaten at the onset of Monsoon and also during the winter season. A small piece of the sweet instantly refreshes you, keeping your throat with a soothing effect. In Ayurveda Ginger has an important place for its medicinal values. Ginger is grown in all parts of the world and used in cooking. Asian dishes, especially Indian and Chinese cuisine include the use of this spice extensively.
Ginger is loaded with antioxidants, compounds that prevent stress and damage to your body’s DNA. They may help your body fight off chronic diseases like high blood pressure, heart disease, and diseases of lungs, plus promote healthy aging. Ginger adds flavor to foods and can relieve nausea and gastrointestinal irritation.
