CARAMEL CUSTARD/PUDDING

Caramel custard, creme caramel flan, egg pudding, or caramel pudding is a custard dessert with a layer of clear caramel sauce. The main ingredients involve Eggs, Milk, and Sugar.


Both Flan and caramel custard look the same, but there are differences in them. Flan is a dessert that can be either sweet or savory,...Flan is a sponge or cake-like base, and then there is a filling. Creme caramel is all custard, but it will have caramel on top.


The full source of proteins, this dessert is loved by all. Many Indians are vegetarians, so a veg variety of preparation is included in the video. An easy way of making these, both with and without eggs are incorporated in the video.



INGREDIENTS


TO MAKE CARAMEL

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • ¾ cup of water


CUSTARD USING EGGS

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup full cream milk

  • 1 cup condensed milk

  • 1 Tablespoon + 2 drops vanilla essence

CUSTARD WITHOUT EGGS

  • 1 cup full cream milk

  • 1 cup condensed milk

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 2 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 1Tablespoon vanilla-flavored custard powder
