It’s a typical Gujrati sweet dish. It’s a dish liked by all. Adding Jaggery, Nuts, edible gum and ghee (clarified butter) enhances the nutritional value of this particular dish.

Gulpapdi acts like a good tonic for expecting mothers, lactating mothers, growing children, and aged persons

Wheat flour and Jaggery are readily available in every Indian household. Easy preparation of this dish and the easy availability of ingredients makes it more popular. The shelf life of this dish is more than any other Indian sweet dish.

Just three simple ingredients are required to make it, other ingredients are optional and can be skipped if unavailable. The main ingredients are Wheat flour, Jaggery, and Pure Ghee also known as clarified butter.
